Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
For serving (optional)
  • sesame seeds optional
  • green onions sliced

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken dry. Toss with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic; cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and vinegar. Simmer 1–2 minutes, stirring, until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  5. Serve warm. Top with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.

Notes:
Chicken thighs work great too.
Want it spicy? Add 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes.
