Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and lightly grease the basket.
- Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces.
- Air fry the dough pieces in a single layer for 3–5 minutes, shaking once, until puffed and golden.
- While they cook, melt the butter in one bowl and mix sugar with cinnamon (and salt) in a second bowl.
- Toss the hot donut holes in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar until well coated.
- Serve warm for the softest, fluffiest texture.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches so air can circulate and brown the donut holes evenly.
Glaze option: Swap cinnamon sugar for a quick glaze (powdered sugar + milk + vanilla).
Extra flavor: Add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar for a donut-shop vibe.
Storage: Best fresh, but reheat leftovers for 20–30 seconds to soften.
