Ingredients

Donut Holes
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough 8-count
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch kosher salt optional, boosts flavor

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Tongs

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and lightly grease the basket.
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces.
  3. Air fry the dough pieces in a single layer for 3–5 minutes, shaking once, until puffed and golden.
  4. While they cook, melt the butter in one bowl and mix sugar with cinnamon (and salt) in a second bowl.
  5. Toss the hot donut holes in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar until well coated.
  6. Serve warm for the softest, fluffiest texture.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches so air can circulate and brown the donut holes evenly.
Glaze option: Swap cinnamon sugar for a quick glaze (powdered sugar + milk + vanilla).
Extra flavor: Add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar for a donut-shop vibe.
Storage: Best fresh, but reheat leftovers for 20–30 seconds to soften.
