Ingredients
  

Ramen
  • 2 packages instant ramen noodles discard seasoning packets
  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cups broccoli florets small pieces
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Medium pot
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Bring the broth to a simmer in a medium pot.
  2. Add the broccoli and cook for 2 minutes, until just tender.
  3. Add the ramen noodles and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until softened.
  4. Stir in the milk and white cheddar until the cheese melts into the broth.
  5. Finish with black pepper and serve hot.

Notes

Tip: Add extra broth if you want a looser, soupier bowl.
