Ingredients
  

Pasta Skillet
  • 8 ounces small pasta such as shells or rotini
  • 10 ounces fully cooked sausage sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup reserved pasta water plus more if needed
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Large skillet

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Reserve 1/3 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the sliced sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until lightly browned.
  3. Stir in the Dijon mustard, honey, heavy cream, and reserved pasta water.
  4. Add the peas and simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and black pepper and toss until coated. Serve warm.

Notes

Tip: Add extra pasta water if you want a silkier sauce.
