Ingredients
  

Turkey Bowls
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli florets small pieces
  • 3 cups cooked rice warm
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Method
 

  1. Cook the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Add the broccoli and cook for 2 minutes more, stirring often.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and water.
  4. Pour the sauce into the skillet and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until thickened and glossy.
  5. Serve the teriyaki turkey mixture over warm rice.

Notes

Tip: Use leftover rice to make this even quicker.
