Ingredients
  

Blondie Bars
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats old-fashioned
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks or chopped chocolate

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk again.
  3. Stir in flour, oats, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chunks. Press batter evenly into the pan.
  5. Bake 20–24 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Tip: Don’t overbake—pull the bars when the center still looks slightly soft for the chewiest texture.
